Akhil Takes Father’s Title?

Akhil Akkineni is four films old in the Telugu film industry. The first three films of his career have bombed and he is awaiting the release of the fourth – Most Eligible Bachelor. His fifth will be launched tomorrow in Hyderabad and the film will start rolling from Ugadi.

Directed by Sye Raa fame Surender Reddy, sources say the makers are considering Varasudu as the film’s title. Varasudu is a 1993 film starring King Nagarjuna. Since Akhil is the scion of the Akkineni clan, such a title will also excite fans.

Anil Sunkara will be bankrolling this project which is going to be the costliest in Akhil’s career. This is the first time Akhil is working with a complete commercial director and so, Akkineni fans are naturally excited and are looking forward to this film.
