Akhil’s Engagement with Zainab: Past Haunts Fans

The Akkineni family is certainly having a happy time with new additions to the clan. Both of Nagarjuna’s sons have announced their plans to get married.

For the older son Naga Chaitanya, the wedding bells will be ringing sooner on 4 December as he ties the knot with Sobhita Dhulipala. And his younger son Akhil has also found his life partner.

He recently shared on Instagram that he has proposed to the love of his life Zainab Ravdjee and she said yes! More updates for their weddings are to come soon but fans were reminded of the time when he was close to getting married but it didn’t go as planned.

When Akhil was 22 he was engaged to 26 year old Shriya Bhupal, a fashion designer. However, later they called off the wedding, for reasons unknown.

Many also speculate that they had a big fight after which they couldn’t reconcile. Akhil is 30 now and he is marrying Zainab who is 39; fans are surely nervous for him.

Currently, the Akkineni family is busy with Naga Chaitanya and Shobhita’s wedding. But they all took out time to congratulate the younger son of the family on social media.
