Director for the much hyped debut movie of next generation star from Akkineni family Akhil seems to be finally confirmed. It is none other than VV Vinayak. The recent release Alludu Sreenu and the way the director took its debut hero under his wings to deliver a safe launch pad for him seems to be the reason for the decision taken by the Akkineni family.
The movie produced by Nagarjuna on Annapurna Studios banner is expected to be launched on September 20. Other cast and crew details would be known only then. Meanwhile grand arrangements are being done for the fans of Akkineni family for the completion of 100 days of Manam. It is in a meet arranged for a proposed function for Manam that the fans came to know about this latest development although the talks with various directors have been going on for some time.
With VV Vinayak as director, it is safe to assume that Nagarjuna is planning a grand mass entrance for Akhil. It is another thing that after ages an Akkineni hero would be working with a top director.
