Akhil’s first film had been a disaster and hence one can understand that Nagarjuna will make no haste in selecting the director of Akhil’s second film. There has been a strong buzz since long that director Vamsi Paipally may direct Akhil’s second movie.

But as per the buzz, Nagarjuna reserved his decision till the release of his ‘Oopiri’ directed by Vamsi Paidipally. Without any doubt, ‘Oopiri’ is standing out tall in the crowd telling us the real potential of a story teller like Vamsi Paidipally. Not only ‘Oopiri’, his previous movies were also based on strong emotions.

Will Nag take a final call as ‘Oopiri’ is running with decent talk? Vamsi’s style might help Akhil a minimum guarantee script that suits an youngster and a newcomer who is yet to establish himself. It is already proved that larger than life roles aren’t Akhil’s cup of tea at such an young age. We’ll know soon whether it would be Vamsi or not.
