Akkineni Hero’s Favourite Film isn’t from His Family

The young heroes who have a family lineage like Akkinenis, Nandamuri’s, Daggubati’s etc normally take the name of a film that was done by their family members as their favorite movie. Ask Rana, he will say that his favorite is ‘Ramudu Bheemudu’ produced by his grandfather Ramanaidu.

But, Akkineni hero Akhil proved to be a bit different. Do you know his favorite movie isn’t the one enacted by his father Nagarjuna or his grandfather legendary ANR or else his brother Naga Chaitanya? Akhil’s favorite movie is Pawan Kalyan’s Trivikram directorial ‘Atharintiki Daredi’. There is a talk that some scenes from his upcoming movie ‘Majnu’ are inspired from ‘Atharintiki Daredi’.

There is also a talk that ‘Majnu’ isn’t an original story but a story inspired from Bollywood movie ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’. But then, ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ is a freemake of another Akkineni hero Sumanth’s film ‘Pelli Sambandaham’ starring legendary ANR playing the grandfather. There is another talk that ‘Majnu’ is an inspiration from another Bollywood film ‘Ye Jawani Hai Deewani’. So many inspirations!
