Akkineni Hero’s Film Going For Direct OTT Release

Akkineni family hero Sumanth‘s career has been always patchy. He delivers hits randomly but follows each hit with many flops. The actor’s next is ‘Malli Modalaindi‘ starring Naina Ganguly. The movie is about concepts like Marriage, Divorce, and remarriage.

Sumanth will be playing a role in which the protagonist falls in love with the lawyer who gets him divorced. The movie’s teaser has released a long ago but the makers have been waiting for the right slot for the release. And then, the third wave struck with no clarity about when the normalcy is going to be restored.

So, the makers of Malli Modalaindi have opted for a direct OTT release. Zee Group bagged the OTT rights of the film and it will be very soon streaming on Zee5. We may see more small films opting for Direct-to-OTT releases in the coming days.

After a hit with Malli Raava, Sumanth delivered flops like Subrahmanyapuram, Idham Jagath, and Kapatadhaari. He has pinned high hopes on this film but it is going for OTT now.
