Akshay Kumar is preparing to bounce back with Priyadarshan’s Bhooth Bangla after delivering a lineup of disasters. The film’s shooting is in progress and following the end of the first schedule in Mumbai, the second will start in Jaipur.
The entire team will soon move to Jaipur and the film is supposed to be shot in some of the most popular spots in the city. Notably, it is the same place where Priyadarshan had filmed Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which also had Akshay as one of the leads.
While the horror comedy’s release has been shifted to 2026, it seems like the makers are trying to ensure that Akshay manages to deliver a hit at the box office after a long time.
Akshay and Priyadarshan’s combination has always been a treat for the audience.
Although the latter has been accused of copying scenes from his previous films on most occasions, he has still given the best results when it comes to comedy.
Priyadarshan’s Hindi films have always held a special position in the hearts of the audience and considering that the new film will receive a theatrical release, there is a possibility that audiences will turn up at the theatres in big numbers.
As mentioned, Akshay desperately needs a blockbuster in his list right now and this time, it looks like he has made the right choice by going to Priyadarshan.
