Akshaye Khanna is set to play Shukracharya in Prasanth Varma’s mythological drama Mahakali. The veteran actor has been busy with impactful supporting roles in major films, showing that he is not slowing down anytime soon.
His performances in Drishyam 2 and Chhaava won appreciation for their depth and variety. Old fans celebrated his strong return, while younger audiences admired his commanding screen presence and refined acting skills.
He even drew attention with a single frame in the first look of Dhurandhar, which is expected to release later this year. The anticipation around his work proves that his second innings in cinema is going strong.
Mahakali belongs to Prasanth Varma’s cinematic universe, which started with Hanu Man. Upcoming films Adhira and Jai Hanuman will also join this universe, bringing together mythological characters and grand storytelling.
In the Mahakali poster, Akshaye Khanna looks unrecognisable as Shukracharya. His fierce expression and dark appearance have created a buzz. Fans are eager to see how he handles this intense role and continue to cheer his successful revival.
