Alarm Bells Ringing For Prabhas’s Director

In the current market conditions, working with Prabhas is a golden opportunity in itself. He is automatically bringing huge box office prospect to the table, and also a wide reach, which capable director can capitalise on.

However, Director Maruti, who is currently at the helm for Prabhas’s Raja Saab appears to be missing the trick. Though this film had been in production for a long time now, it was rarely able to make headlines.

On top of that, the upcoming lineup of Prabhas including Fauji and Spirit had been on the top of the discussions for a while now. There are not many mentions of Raja Saab on social media either.

It must be noted that social media perceives Maruti not to be in the same bracket as a Sandeep Reddy Vanga. So naturally, the discussions will be on the lower side.

But at the end of the day, Maruthi is a very capable director who has the capacity to bring audience to theaters and keep them engaged. His target audience mainly come from the rural pockets. So, it’s not wise to underestimate him either.

But considering the starry line up of Prabhas next with Fauji, and Spirit, it is high time that Maruthi gets back on track and starts the promotional wing of Raja Saab himself. He can’t afford to have this film out of the discussion for a longer period of time.

There’s no clarity on the release plan of Raja Saab and on top of that even fans are sceptical about it. At this point in time, Maruthi must surely deliver winning promotional stuff if he is to stay in the top of his game.
