AA22xA6: Mrunal Locked, Janhvi Soon, 3rd Heroine?

Sita Ramam beauty Mrunal Thakur has officially joined Allu Arjun’s upcoming action-packed entertainer with director Atlee, tentatively titled AA22xA6.

According to Rahul Raut of Peeping Moon, Mrunal recently did a look test in Mumbai and has now been locked in as one of the film’s three leading ladies.

She’ll be paired opposite Allu Arjun in what’s described as a fresh, never-seen-before avatar for the actress. This high-budget film is being bankrolled by Sun Pictures.

While Mrunal is confirmed, reports suggest Janhvi Kapoor is close to signing on, and Deepika Padukone is still in talks for the third heroine role. The casting is shaping up to be one of the most exciting line-ups in recent memory.

Allu Arjun had earlier praised Mrunal’s performance in Hi Nanna (2023), and fans are thrilled to see this collaboration come to life.

Set in a parallel universe, AA22xA6 features Allu Arjun in a double role for the first time in his career.

The film is heavy on VFX and brings on board top international teams for the visual effects work. Pre-production is already in full swing, and shooting is expected to begin between August and September.

Director Atlee calls this his “dream project” — a mass entertainer with emotion, fantasy, and scale aimed at captivating audiences across the globe.

With such a powerful team behind it, the film is already being seen as a potential pan-India blockbuster in the making.
