Allu Arjun Completely Misjudged Pushpa

Allu Arjun has the habit of promoting his films aggressively. But in the case of Pushpa: The Rise, Allu Arjun couldn’t devise a winning promotional plan. If anything, Pushpa is one of Allu Arjun’s poorly promoted films in recent times.

Well, the subpar promotions weren’t entirely Allu Arjun’s fault. The fundamental problem arose with Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s misjudgment of the project.

We at M9News interacted with Allu Arjun a short while back and asked him about the promotional campaign. “It is true that I couldn’t promote Pushpa to the fullest. This is a result of misjudgment. Sukumar and I haven’t worked on a project of this magnitude, so we couldn’t judge the project completion timeline. It took us way more time than initially anticipated to complete Pushpa. I was dubbing for my portion till 8th December and was occupied with post production related work even till 10th December. So, there simply wasn’t enough time to chalk out a promotional plan,” Allu Arjun said.

About the seemingly rushed release, Allu Arjun said it was a conscious effort to make sure that there will be at least an 8-9 months gap between the two installments of Pushpa and hence the decision to stick to the December release proposal, despite the time constraints.

Allu Arjun has two more days left to promote Pushpa: The Rise as the film will be arriving in theaters on 17 December.
