Allu Arjun In A Catch-Up Game With Vijay Deverakonda

Apart from Prabhas, the only two stars currently from TFI trying for pan-India stardom are Vijay Deverakonda and Allu Arjun. Incidentally, Prabhas did not try, but he got it through the Baahubali movies. Now looking at the way things are progressing between the other two, one feels Allu Arjun is playing a catch- up game with Vijay Deverakonda.

There seems to be a fierce internal competition happening behind the doors between Allu Arjun and Vijay Deverakonda. Take the case of social media. In Instagram, there is neck and neck race between the two. VD (11.8M) has nosedived ahead of AA (11.7M) by a small margin, as it stands today. VD, of course, was the first to reach the 10M mark.

Similarly, all the recent past movies of Allu Arjun and Vijay Deverakonda are getting dubbed in Hindi and garnering fabulous views on the movies front. Here AA is ahead comfortably. It is the same case with TV viewership.

And last but not least, regarding the ‘actual’ projects, Vijay Deverakonda has a ready to release pan-India movie. He has another one in line. Allu Arjun is banking on Pushpa (and its supposed sequel) to do it for him.

Overall, considering the social media profile, presence and actual movies in hand, Vijay Deverakonda is ahead. Here, Allu Arjun is playing a catch –up game with him (concerned with pan-India ambitions only). So let’s see how things stand at the end of the year when both Liger and Pusha, hopefully, would have hit cinemas.
