Allu Arjun is currently shooting AA22xA6, a grand sci-fi film directed by Atlee. Reports say around 40 percent of the filming is complete. The movie follows the massive pan India success of the Pushpa franchise.
There are strong rumours about his next project. Speculation points toward a superhero film with director Lokesh Kanagaraj. While there is no official announcement yet, the buzz is getting louder.
These back-to-back collaborations with Tamil directors have sparked debate. Some social media users claim Allu Arjun is eyeing the Tamil market. They say Vijay is moving toward politics, creating a market gap in Kollywood.
They also mention Ajith Kumar focusing on racing and Rajinikanth nearing retirement. According to this view, Tamil Nadu might soon need a new mass superstar. Some believe Allu Arjun wants to fill that void.
A few Tamil cinema trackers feel this idea is not impossible. They argue that Allu Arjun already has a strong Kollywood fanbase. Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Pushpa still receive high TRPs on Tamil TV channels despite average Tamil Nadu box office numbers.
They suggest that if Allu Arjun plans his lineup well, he could grow into a major force in Kollywood. They see a real opportunity for him to expand beyond the Telugu market.
However, these conversations are only social media speculation. It remains to be seen if the Lokesh Kanagaraj collaboration will actually happen after AA22xA6 with Atlee. The industry will watch closely to see what shape this future project takes.
