Mega Hero Not Interested in Pooja Hegde

Recently, the makers of ‘Duvvada Jagannadham’ (DJ) had launched the film starring Allu Arjun in the lead and director Harish Shanker helming the project. The heroine of the film wasn’t confirmed yet.

According to a report in an English tabloid, actress Pooja Hegde of ‘Mukunda’ fame was the first choice for the heroine role to act as Allu Arjun’s romantic interest. But now the makers are thinking to rope in Kajal Agarwal to play the female lead in DJ.

Pooja was approached before her Bollywood film ‘Mohenjo Daro’ took off. But she made the makers of DJ wait till her debut Hindi movie hits screens. Meanwhile, the producers lost interest in her and now Kajal Agarwal’s name surfaced as they met her during the shooting of megastar Chiranjeevi’s film shooting and discussed the film. Let’s wait for the official confirmation.
