Allu Arjun’s On-Screen Brother Arrested

Actor Shyam, who is popular among Telugu audience for his turns in Race Gurram (as Allu Arjun’s elder brother) and Kick (friendly foe for Ravi Teja) is arrested. It took place in the late-night of July 27th, in the suburbs of Chennai.

The reports coming in are mixed, and a clear consensus needs to be made on the real events, though. What is heard is that Shyam has been illegally conducting gambling in his club in Kodambakkam. Poker chips used for gaming were found in his house, which has led to his immediate arrest. 11 others were also taken in custody along with him.

The tip-off to the police reportedly came from one of the contestants of the gambling. The ‘one’ had allegedly lost a lot of money in the betting. As an act of vengeance, he intimated the police.

The others arrested reportedly also includes some actors, but small-time ones. The police have been acting swiftly and severely on gambling cases as many under the loses are committing suicides. One has to wait and see what actions they will take in this particular case.

Shyam didn’t taste a big success as a lead hero, but he has been doing well for him in supporting roles. He has been part of some memorable blockbusters in Telugu. His most recollected parts are the two mentioned at the start. Race Gurram, especially with Allu Arjun, is fondly remembered.
