The youngest son of ace producer Allu Arvind, Allu Sirish seemed to be following the direction of his father’s career path when he debuted in the industry four years ago. Having recently changed his direction when he decided to take up acting, Sirish answered a lot of questions regarding this seemingly surprising decision.
“It might seem like a sudden change, but I did quite a lot of acting when I was a kid. I did a cameo in Pratibandh and acted in a Tamil TV serial with veteran actress Bhanumathi which was her last assignment on TV. I knew that I would act someday in future, but I wasn’t sure if I could carry off a lead role.”
About his debut film, Sirish says, “Gauravam is a social drama which gives an interesting insight into the rural life through the eyes of a city boy.”
