She Isn’t Production Friendly – What Does It Mean?

Beyond doubt, Amala Paul is one of the most talented actresses we have in South, and she is bold enough to act nude when she has got something really fascinating through a tale worth telling like in her upcoming movie ‘Aadai’.

But, the teaser of the same movie and the nude act seem to be the reason why Amala Paul was thrown out of a Tamil film tentatively titled VSP33 with Vijay Sethupathy playing the lead. Amala Paul issued a statement asking the producer what does it mean when he said that she wasn’t production friendly.

She thinks that it’s the egoistic and patriarchal mindset of the makers that made them remove her from the movie. Amala is definitely doing some good cinema and growing as a rock solid performer with every movie. She is in no mood to keep quiet when a producer says that she wasn’t production-friendly.

Actually, Amala Paul didn’t begin shooting for her part, even. She was in Mumbai choosing her outfits for the movie without asking the producers for travel or accommodation expenses though it was not for her personal work but for the movie. At the end of the day, audiences missed Vijay Sethupathy and Amala Paul combo, two solid performers in one project.
