Popular southern celebrity Amala Paul, who has made her place on the top with the success of her film ‘Thalaivaa’ along with actor Vijay, seems to be keeping busy these days. The actress got an offer for a film with Bollywood superstar AKshay Kumar and has apparently turned it down, the reason being lack of dates. Amala got the offer for ‘Gabbar’, which will be a remake of the Tamil film ‘Ramana’(Tagore in Telugu). She heard the script, made a few trips to Mumbai and still said no.
Although there have been rumors about her taking up the offer for a Malayalam film featuring Nivin Pauly, the actress cleared it with a Twitter post stating “Speculations about me signing a new movie is as baseless as Zimbabwe winning ODI World cup!! Will definitely let the media know which my next movie is as soon as I sign it.”
