Trailer Talk: Not Getting The Right Vibe

The theatrical trailer of new Srinu Vytla film, Amar Akbar Anthony is out. It stars Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja in the lead, and it’s his fourth collaboration with the director.

The teaser of Amar Akbar Anthony that came earlier was definitely more intriguing compared to the trailer. We made an observation (Check Here) then that there is a similarity with Mister and that the trailer would give better clarity. Well, as expected the same problems have surfaced in Amar Akbar Anthony like it did with Mister. There seem to be way too many characters doing their own thing for the sake of comedy. A cohesive narrative was missing. And the basic plotline was so outdated and predictable. Could that be the case here as well? On a positive side, the story aspect here seems to be an improvement.

Check out the trailer below. More than Ravi Teja, it is director Srinu Vytla who is in dire need of a hit. Let’s see if he can get a relief commercially as Amar Akbar Anthony hits screens all over on November 16. Ileana returns to Telugu screen after a long gap with the movie.
