Ileana Rejected Dubbing But Did It Finally

Ileana is coming back to the Telugu Film Industry after a long time, a gap of almost 6 years with Ravi Teja again with whom she did her last Telugu film ‘Devudu Chesina Manushulu’. ‘Amar Akbar Anthony‘ is her comeback movie in Telugu. Talking about her, Director Srinu Vaitla confirmed that she dubbed for her role in Telugu.

Initially, she was skeptical that she might not emote well in the target language and therefore, rejected dubbing for her role. But upon insistence by the director, she finally had to accept. Srinu Vaitla says that she was perfect, her voice and language were really good. So, this will be the first ever experience for the Telugu audiences who know Ileana for a decade.

Talking about the story, Srinu Vaitla says that he chose a different story this time keeping aside his spoof comedy genre that he used extensively in his previous movies. Initially, the spoofs worked big time and gradually they became his weakest points. Let’s go by his words and expect a different movie from him. Amar Akbar Anthony is a crucial film for the trio aka Ravi Teja, Srinu Vaitla and Ileana.
