‘WATA’ Satire on TANA?

Srinu Vaitla’s mark comedy and satires were a known thing in the industry when he was in his prime time with back-to-back successful movies. His satires used to be the center of controversies for making satires on other industry artists in his films. When asked, if there were any satires in his upcoming movie ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, the director revealed something interesting.

This time he created an organisation WATA that means Whole Andhra Telangana Association. This is a satire on TANA, the popular NRI based in the United States of America. Well, the entire movie was shot in the US around New York as the story happens in the US as per his plot. Let’s see how his ‘WATA” satire on TANA will turn out to be; really hilarious or controversial.

Sunil is playing a comedian in this film. We know that Sunil’s come back movie as a comedian ‘Aravindha Sametha’ wasn’t a memorable one. Srinu Vaitla says Sunil‘s role will be very hilarious like the one he did in ‘Dubai Sreenu’. Can we expect Sunil in all of his elements as a comedian with this ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’? Overall, there is a curiosity if Srinu Vaitla can deliver a hit when everyone has written him off. Will his satires work?
