Amaravati to offer best lung space in the country!

If the plans of the state government materialize, Amaravati, the upcoming state capital of Andhra Pradesh will offer best lung space in the country. According to the master plan submitted by the Singapore team, the city will have 40% green spaces.

Several Parks are planned within the capital city – Parks along all water bodies, Community park in 16 hectares, Botanical garden in 108 hectares, web land park of 52 hectares and Amaravati Plaza – the central park along Krishna river.

Green corridors are planned linking all the parks in the city. Few islands with extensive greenery are going to be developed to attract tourists. Walkways and cycle ways are going to be laid in all the sub roads in the city which will inculcate physical activity and also reduce pollution.
