American tourist went missing, raped by Sadhu

Rape, is the most cruel form of molestation on women which is condemned by humanity universally. Though society shuns such henious acts, there are many demons in this society who are shame to any country who try to rape a woman when they find her easily vulnerable to molestation and cruelty because of their physical frailty.

A 43-year old tourist from California was found missing for three days after heer arrival on 27th February and when she was found on 3rd March, she was in an unconscious state unable to recall what has happened to her. After she was admitted in Hospital, the American lady said that she was raped by a Sadhu and one can see the injuries of physical asault on the lady.

This incident happened in Vrindavan region in Agra and the Agra Tourist Welfare Chamber and Tourism department of the region are taking this incident pretty seriously as such incidents add to the shame of the country. When someone comes from other countries as tourists to India, they are like our guests and in traditional Indian society, Guests are treated as Gods (Athithi Devo Bhava). Are we forgetting our rich and enviable traditions?
