Anup Rubens outside the Puri Jagannadh films and Akkineni Family hasn’t done really big mass movies. He got a huge opportunity with Pawan Kalyan’s offering Katamarayudu. However, one has to say the music director had squandered this great opportunity.

Pawan Kalyan is one of those rare stars who has had a great musical career. Almost all of his albums have been big success. This is the reason why one can easily count the unsuccessful ones. The albums Annavaram, Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu and Puli will be among those, with Annavaram and Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu being the ultimate weakest albums. Now, Katamarayudu has found a position straight up at this bottom.

In fact there seems to be a tough fight between Katamarayudu and the above mentioned two albums for the weakest slot. At the moment it wouldn’t be an understatement to say Katamarayudu might be the weakest of the lot with fans not appreciating it largely. There is a song or two that might be decent but overall, fans have been terribly disappointed. Let’s see if the videos salvage them in the movie onscreen.
