Another Potential Remake, Who’ll Grab It?

While the biopic trend is fading away, Tollywood has catch hold of the new trend of remakes which is going pretty well with the filmmakers and the audience. The recent one, Evaru by Adivi Sesh is a successful remake, though the original is a foreign film, The Invisible Guest, it has been neatly adopted to cater to the Telugu audience.

Even Bellamkonda remade Ratsasan in Telugu as Rakshasudu. Though it didn’t post big numbers because of the lead hero’s pulling strength to theaters, end of the day it is successful adoption of a Tamil film in spite of being a faithful remake.

Now, another Bollywood potential thriller for Telugu remake is Andhadhun which is confirmed to be remade in Tamil by Thiagarajan with hero Prashanth to play Ayushmann Kurrana’s role. This one also has the potential to impress thriller fans in Telugu pretty well. But to avoid Rakshasudu salutation, it only needs a right lead. Now that remakes are working well, let’s see who will grab it.
