It is known that the government of Andhra Pradesh permitted additional shows and ticket price hikes for NTR’s Devara. The government permitted a standard 14-day ticket price hike for the film, but this was later challenged at AP High Court and the verdict of the same came out a few minutes ago.
The High Court issued a new order that instructs ticket price hikes for only 10 days and not 14 days. This is in view of public concern.
In a way, this order could be a blessing in disguise for the makers as a consecutive hike for 14 days would anyway have irked the family audience considering the current theatrical trends.
The 10-day hike that will not be in effect will be sufficient enough for makers to generate revenues from the early push and thereafter, the regular prices will be in effect and this would only invite the families.
Coming to the hikes permitted by the government:
Multiplex ₹135 hike.
Single Screen ₹110 ( Upper class)
Single Screen ₹60 ( Lower class)
The advances have already opened with hikes prices and they will be in effect for 10 days, as instructed by the high court. The old prices will come to effect thereafter.
