3 Hrs 30 Mins: Lengthiest Movie Ever?

Sensational director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is now coming up with a twisted gangster drama, Animal, which is going to be released on December 1.

There are some rumors going on on social media that Vanga has locked an unbelievable runtime of 3 Hours and 30 minutes for the film.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga is known for making long films. His first film Arjun Reddy was over 3 Hours long. Its Hindi remake directed by Vanga again was around 2 Hours and 55 Mins. Now Animal is also said to have a runtime of over 3 Hours 30 mins.

Our sources say that these are only rumors and there is no truth in them. Vanga isn’t that naive to lock such runtime for Animal. Such a lengthy runtime will not only adversely affect the film’s impact on the audience but also the allocation of shows in multiplexes will be affected which will in turn damage its box office prospects.

Animal covers the journey of its leading character played by Ranbir Kapoor right from his childhood to his death. The film also features many songs as a part of the narrative. So the film is going to be a lengthy one for sure. But anything more than 3 hours will be suicidal for the film. The apt runtime would be around 160-180 minutes.
