Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, continues to do well in theatres in week 2. As per trade analysts, the film has minted over ₹660.89 crore worldwide in nine days of its release.
The film is on course to score the highest second weekend of all time. The record for the highest second weekend rests with Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 which collected around 90 crores net. Baahubali 2 scored 80 crore second weekend in Hindi and Jawan collected 85 crore.
Animal has already scored 55 crores (Fri 23 + Sat 32) in its second weekend and Sunday is sure to cross the 40 crore mark, as per the trend. So a 95-crore weekend is given which will be an all-time record.
If the evening and night shows do better then Animal can even touch the 100-crore mark for the second weekend which will be completely insane.
