Another biggie adds in Eros disaster list

The disastrous run of Eros acquired projects at the box office is continuing with Uttama Villain. This Kamal Haasan starrer which as it is had a delayed release is now close to getting washout at the Telugu cinema box office.

Coming as the next film after highly acclaimed Vishwaroopam and that too after a long gap there were good expectations on the film. Even the late release didn’t deter the audience who thronged to the theaters late in the evening but as soon as the first show got over the talk on the film was unanimous. Barring handful of people the word of mouth on the film has been negative from the word go.

Uttama Villain adds to the long list of disasters Eros has been associated with recently. The trend is now putting doubts in mind of people on the future films that are coming from the production house. May be they all need to look at the fate of few small budget films that the production house has released recently in Hindi to feel positive.
