Anushka was the First Choice for Chiru :Vinayak

After a few names made rounds, finally Kajal Agarwal was chosen as the heroine for megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Khaidi No. 150’. “Anushka Shetty was one of the first options to romance Chiranjeevi. But, I always had Kajal Agarwal in mind as the heroine of the film,” revealed director VV Vinayak.

Anushka was very busy with ‘Baahubali’ and other commitments and even Kajal was busy with other films. But, Kajal left one of the movies and accommodated dates for the megastar’s 150th movie. That’s how Kajal came into the scene, said Vinayak.

As Brahmanandam is his favorite, Chiranjeevi wanted to have the comedian in his film. Hence, the director had to create a separate track for the star comedian. His fans were disappointed initially as they thought he should have tried a new subject instead of going for a safe bet. Chiru always wanted a safe bet admitted Vinayak.
