Anushka Lost A Perfect Opportunity?

Veteran actress Anushka Shetty was tipped to make a comeback of sorts with Ms Shetty Mr Polishetty, a comedy caper starring happening actor Naveen Polishetty in the protagonist role. It was heard that UV Creations would be announcing the project very soon.

But as it turns out, this project has been put on the back-burner. The exact reason behind the same is undisclosed for now. For some reason, things didn’t quite pan out as planned and UV Creations are said to have decided to postpone the project indefinitely. Chances are high that this project might have even been shelved.

Starring in a youthful comedy caper alongside an in-form actor like Naveen Polishetty would have made for a perfect comeback for Anushka. But it seems to be that she has missed the opportunity now. She will now have to wait for the right script to come her way.

Anushka’s previous outing Nishabdham which premiered on Amazon Prime Video turned out to be a dud. She has been spending some quality time with her family since the onset of Covid pandemic.
