Anxious Times for Mega Debutante – No Clarity on Release

Vaishnav Tej is the new mega hero who is going to test his luck at the box-office with his maiden movie ‘Uppena’. But, when? The movie was completed before the pandemic and when it was almost ready for release, the pandemic played a spoil-sport.

Uppena has got a decent buzz and even the music of the movie made enough noise for creating curiosity among the movie-buffs and common audiences, as well. However, the makers didn’t come up with a release date as by now we know that they aren’t going to have a direct OTT release.

So, there is no clarity if the movie would be in the Sankranthi race or the makers are going to wait longer. ‘Uppena’ has got a decent vibe mainly due to its music and its association with director Sukumar. Buzz has got it that the mega hero’s second movie is also complete and waiting for the debut movie to be released.

Coming to Vaishnav Tej’s brother, Sai Dharam Tej, his debut movie ‘Rey’ was a disaster but by the time it was ready to release, his second movie was ready and helped the mega hero to quickly emerge from the debut disaster and deliver a hit.
