AP City tops Cyber Crime in India!

Our own Vishakapatnam had crossed all the metro cities in the country but not in any achievement we will be proud off. The port city tops the list of cities in the country where the highest number of cyber crime cases are registered.

The Vishakapatnam police department files at least one cyber crime case a day, of which phishing crimes are the highest, followed by crimes against women through social networking sites.The port city remains top in the country despite several awareness campaigns conducted by the local police.

Interestingly Engineering students are most involved in these case both as victims and accused. The girls of the city are falling prey to miscreants getting lured by easy money especially on social networking sites. The local police have decided to come up with more innovative campaigns to curb this menace.
