APCID has registered a case against former Minister Devineni Uma for allegedly telecasting a morphed video of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in a Press Conference. There has been a criticism of why a crucial agency like CID is wasting its time on trivial issues.
According to a Report in Andhrajyothy, CID served a notice to Uma’s house in Gollapudi, Vijayawada asking him to attend before them in the Kurnool CID office at 10 AM. The notice was delivered at 9.37 AM. The former minister was in Nellore busy in the Tirupati by-election campaign.
So he was expected to rush from Nellore to Kurnool in 23 minutes flat after knowing about the notice served at his residence in Vijayawada. TDP supporters on social media ridicule that APCID seems to have taken the Vakeel Saab Super Woman episode seriously.
APCID reportedly registered cases on Uma under sections 464, 465, 468, 469, 470, 471, 505, 120(B) upon the complaint of a lawyer.
