Aren’t Shruti-Dhanush enough for Kamal & Rajni?

Yesteryear actress Jayapradha is launching her nephew Siddhu with a Tamil film titled ‘Uyire Uyire’. Being a Telugu girl from Vijayawada by birth, Telugus expect to launch her heir through a Telugu movie. But she has a different opinion. As Kamal and Rajnikanth have no sons, she decided to produce a Tamil movie for her nephew. But it’s not the case with Telugu superstars she opines.

Balakrishna, NTR, Kalyan Ram and Tarak Ram are legendary NTR’s successors. Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya and Akhil Akkineni are legendary ANR’s successors. Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Varun Tej and Sai Dharam Tej are megastar Chiru’s successors. Lemme stop at this because more such lists can be made in Tollywood.

Coming to Kollywood, we have two very big stars aka Superstar Rajnikanth and Universal star Kamal Haasan. Both of them don’t have sons. Though both Kamal’s daughters Shruti Haasan and Akshara Haasan are into films but in a male dominated industry, son’s are considered as successors who can carry forward their legacy.

For Rajnikanth, his son-in-law already is in the path to become new-age Rajnikanth. Being a female actress herself, it’s surprising how Jayapradha considers daughters not being superstars’ successors?
