He Needs to Lose 20 Kgs or I’m out -Arjun Reddy Director

Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is presently caught in a tricky situation where he is unable to decide the hero of the Hindi remake of his blockbuster ‘Arjun Reddy‘. From Ranveer Singh he has moved on to Shahid Kapoor to essay the bold and challenging role.

According to the director’s account, Shahid was keen to play the titular role. But then, now the director is in a fix as the producers who had acquired the remake rights want to cast Arjun Kapoor in the lead. For the uninitiated Tollywood audiences, Arjun Kapoor is Sridevi’s stepson and who is a bit on the plumper side by the nature of his body type.

If at all Sandeep Reddy Vanga has to compromise on his hero and choose Arjun Kapoor, he has one condition that the Kapoor hero needs to lose at least 10 mga of his weight to play the role or else Sandeep will be out of the remake project. We think that the director is totally justified in having his own demands as he knows the character better than anyone else. What do you think?
