A Telugu Remake To Dominate Telugu Releases This Week!

It will be an exciting weekend and week ahead for the Telugu film industry. At the box office, not one or two, but more than five direct Telugu movies are going to compete with each other. But, the one film that has the maximum buzz is not a direct Telugu one, but with a Telugu connection.

The Bollywood remake of Arjun Reddy, titled Kabir Singh is the film that has the maximum among all the releases. The Shahid Kapoor starrer has the best advance booking where it is more than the combined advances of the rest of the films put together.

Among the Hindi films alone, Kabir Singh has second-best advance figures of the year after Bharat starring Salman Khan. It just goes to show Sandeep Reddy Vanga has been successful in recreating the aura of the original with its remake as well. The youth all over are likely to lap it up again.

In Telugu, Mallesham, a biopic is carrying good buzz from the preview shows, but it is Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya which is finding interest among the audience. 1st Rank Raju, Voter (Manchu Vishnu starrer) and Special – The Story of a Mind Reader, have no buzz at all. Let’s see which one of these films surprises and finds patronage among the Telugu audience.
