Trailer Talk: Promising Rural Drama, But…

The trailer of Vishwak Sen’s Ashoka Vanam Lo Arjuna Kalyanam is out now. It promises to be a rural drama.

Vishwak plays a typical lad who is in mid 30s. He finally meets the love of his life, played by Rukshar Dhillon following bridal glances. But there are a few unforeseen turbulences that directly affect their lives. Vishwak looks at ease in this peculiar role.

The love track between the lead pair is based on rural sensibilities. The narrative is also set in a rural backdrop and that ultimately adds a layer of freshness to the proceedings.

There haven’t been any notable rural dramas in the recent past and that could work in favour of AVAK. But sensible subjects like these need to be handled well and the souls should be bang on point to strike a chord with the larger section of the audience.

Supporting actors Goparaju Ramana and Kedar Shankar look at ease in important roles. The visuals are aesthetically pleasing and the background score suits the theme.

The rural drama releases in theatres on 6th May.
