Aswini Dutt is one of the most senior producers in Telugu. His production house, Vyjayanthi Movies established in 1974 had produced more than 25 films out of which many are with big stars and with big budgets. However, it is all past, Aswini Dutt is in severe crisis after his recent disasters. The reason for the crisis is one man – Meher Ramesh. He directed two movies for Aswini Dutt – Kantri and Shakthi. Kantri was just a break even but Shakthi was an outright disaster.
Meher Ramesh had directed ‘Shadow’ with Venkatesh and the result is the same. While every producer in the industry is shutting door on Meher, Aswini Dutt decided to trust him for one more time. It is told that he is planning a project with Sunil in the lead role and Meher Ramesh’s direction. This is the biggest risk of Aswini Dutt’s career which may even end up his career. Fingers Crossed!
