In a recent interview with India Today, filmmaker Atlee spoke about his future projects in Bollywood and beyond. The director addressed ongoing speculation around sequels, reunions, and upcoming films.
Atlee is best known for his blockbuster collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan in the 2023 action thriller Jawan. He confirmed that the two will definitely work together again on a new project.
However, Atlee made it clear that a sequel to Jawan is not happening anytime soon. He said any future collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan would happen organically, only when the right idea comes along.
The director also addressed rumours linking him to Don 3. Atlee clarified that he is not directing the film and called the reports mere speculation.
He added that despite fans creating hype around his involvement, he is not associated with the Don franchise in any capacity. The filmmaker stated that the rumours have no basis.
Atlee currently has a busy schedule ahead. He is working on a major action project with Allu Arjun, tentatively titled AA22xA6.
The film marks Atlee’s Telugu debut and is expected to be made in two parts. It is being mounted on a massive scale with a huge budget and international VFX support.
