The majority of the viewers who watched the film on the first day blasted the makers of Ramarao On Duty on social media, saying that it’s shameful on the part of the makers to blame the audience for not coming to theaters when they continue to make such outdated and boring films.
Many were saying how the makers can expect that audience would come to theaters and embrace such ‘Faaltu’ movies, which aren’t even worth watching on OTT platforms.
Week after week, Tollywood is dishing out drab and unexciting films, and the situation is getting worst for the industry. Trade analysts say that movies like Ramarao On Duty do more harm than good as the audience will stay away from even the good films because of such bad experiences.
Let’s hope things improve with films like Bimbisara and Sitaramam, which are carrying decent reports in the trade circles.
