Aug 25: Crucial For Young Heroes

Varun Tej is gearing up to captivate audiences with the action thriller, “Gaandeevadhari Arjuna” directed by Praveen Sattaru, scheduled for release on August 25. The film has received a U/A rating with a concise runtime of 2 hours and 16 minutes.

The slick trailer of the film has raised some hopes that the film will be a gripping action-packed thriller. Varun Tej is in dire need of a hit. He was expected to be the next mass action hero in Tollywood after the success of Gaddalakonda Ganesh, but his later films didn’t live up the expectations.

Praveen Sattaru also couldn’t deliver much after Garuda Vega and the success of Gandeevadhari Arjuna will decide his fate also in Tollywood.

RX 100 fame Kartikeya is set to try his luck with “Bedurulanka 2012,” directed by Clax. After some delays, the makers have now confirmed its release on August 25th. The trailer hints at a blend of comedy, emotions, and drama set in the village of Bedurulanka in 2012. Kartikeya plays the role of Shiva Shankar Vara Prasad.

Kartikeya completely lost track after RX 100. His stint with villainous roles in Gang Leader and Valimai also didn’t yield him any favorable results. Bedurulanka’s fate at the box office will determine his future in the industry.

Neha Shetty is also coming back after a long gap after DJ Tillu where she made the audience fall in love with her. It will be interesting to see if she can weave the same magic again in this film.

Senior heroes delivered whatever they could in the last few weeks, now it is time for the younger lot to prove their mettle at the box office this week.
