Actress Being Wronged for No Fault of Hers?

Kannada actress Avantika Shetty who has been in the film industry for nine years is presently involved in a controversy where the producer of an upcoming Kannada movie ‘Raju Kannada Medium’ has removed her from his film after she shot for the major portions.

Giving clarity on her side of the story, Avantika shared a Facebook post giving a detailed account of how she was mistreated by the technicians of the film who wanted her to be friendly when she was actually professional and cordial. She was removed when she shot for almost all her portions and even her payment was stalled.

She wasn’t even allowed to dub for her portions though it was a part of the contract for the film. She complained about the producer of the movie for the ill-treatment and also for the dues she has to be paid for her work. She says that she tried to solve the problem with the producer and the director but they haven’t responded.
