The point of discussion now is the shocking run-time of the James Cameron directorial. It could well go down as one of the lengthiest English films in recent times.
Avatar 2 has locked a run-time of 192 minutes – 3 hours 12 minutes. The final copy has been locked with this unusually long run-time and when asked about the same. James Cameron said “Well, if I like a film, I’m sure the audience will like it. I really liked Avatar 2, and don’t mind the run time.”
Holding the attention of the audience for over 3 hours with a film that predominantly runs on alienated-looking characters is not going to be an easy task. But back in 2009, when Avatar released, the world was in awe. Will Avatar 2 emulate a similar feat? We shall see.
