Awe Going 1 Nenokkadine Way

Remember the film 1 Nenokkadine starring Mahesh Babu? The film was a disaster in the Telugu states, but it did find some appreciation in the US. The final numbers reflect. Is Awe going the same way?

Awe has opened with a mixed response. There is a section that has liked the movie whereas there are some who found it to be average, at best. The film is doing very well when we look specifically at the US. There is a local biggie Black Panther rocking in cinemas that is making it difficult for Awe distributors to get the shows with proper timings. And yet, the concept film is pulling in the audience. Awe collected $577 K so far in the US and more locations will be added this week.

In the Telugu states, it is a different picture entirely. The film has decent openings in the top “A” centres. Everywhere else, it was abysmal. Also, the talk is not encouraging at all, and there is nothing much it is going to add going forward.
