Maheshwar Reddy of Ganga Entertainments, the rights holder of Siva Karthikeyan’s Ayaalan had released a statement about the Telugu version postponement and blamed the media for it.
But then, the Telugu buyer is the clear culprit in the whole scenario.
The Telugu buyer released a poster with a list of distributors in AP and Telangana and also asserted that the movie is releasing on January 12th.
The poster said Dil Raju will release the movie in the Nizam and Vizag areas.
This poster led to media writing that Dil Raju is releasing a dubbing film for Sankranthi while denying theaters for HanuMan.
After Dil Raju’s outburst in the media the other day, M9 News representative mentioned this poster to Dil Raju.
“ఎవడో ఏదో పోస్టర్ మీద వేసుకుంటే నాకేం సంబంధం? నాతో చెక్ చేసుకోకుండా మీరు ఎలా రాస్తారు?,” Dil Raju said.
Exercising abundant caution, M9 News checked another source about Ayalaan’s release date and did not publish the news of Dil Raju releasing a dubbing film for Sankranthi.
But then, it is not necessary that all media houses re-verify because this poster has come from a reliable channel to all the Twitter influencers. Moreover, it is not some C-grade or D-grade film for the media to cross-check the authenticity. A film that big is expected not to mislead people.
Ganga Entertainments, however, clearly misled the media and the audience with that poster and is trying to blame Media for no reason.
In fact, they should ask for an apology from Dil Raju and the media first.
