B and C’s reject Gentleman

Nani’s Gentleman released amidst low expectations but opened to some fair reviews yesterday. All those who saw the film had mixed response for the project. Some said that the first half was quite boring but the second half saved the film from sinking.

What ever might be the reason, the film has got the necessary attention. But collections wise, things are quite different. The film opened to some great collections in the A centres but many B and C centres have a different story to tell.

The occupancy was quite low in these so called C centres of both the Telugu states. Being a class film and also a thriller upon that, it is very hard for the film to generate repeat audience at the ticket window. The coming days will be quite crucial to see how the film does. For now, Nani is quite happy that his film has brought him more laurels for his acting.
