Baahubali 2 in Controversy- Thanks to Kattappa!

Kattappa might be the reason for the craze the epic movie is enjoying across the country. But, he is also the reason why ‘Baahubali 2‘ is sailing through rough waters in Karnataka. The pro-Kannada organisations are against the release of the movie.

The reason is the alleged statements made by actor Satyaraj (the senior actor who played Kattappa) during the Cauvery water dispute between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. They want Satyaraj to apologise for allegedly making derogatory comments on the State.

So, it is not the character of Kattappa but the statement of Satyaraj that had irked the Kannadigas. They want to stop the release of the film in Karnataka. These same Kannadigas wanted Rajamouli to release the Kannada dubbing version of ‘Baahubali 2’. It didn’t happen, though.
