KGF Proves Why BB Is Trendsetter

Trendsetter movies don’t come regularly, but they do happen from time to time. However, these movies are, and the trend they set is exclusive to the industry they are from. Very rarely we have a film that becomes a trendsetter nationally. Baahubali has now become that kind of a movie.

Before Baahubali, some random movies from South used to release in a dubbed version in Hindi. However, after the landmark SS Rajamouli’s epic, the Southern film industry has woken up in a manner never seen before. Irrespective of the success or the failure, many big films are getting regularly dubbed into Bollywood.

The latest example if KGF, a Kannada film which has found appreciation from the dubbed Hindi version. The collections over the weekend are an example to show that, Hindi audience are now noticing and not minding venturing out for dubbing movies. It is even more significant given they are coming with Hindi biggies. It means more and more stars or directors would be taking this approach in future. The entire paradigm of cinema making and ambitious ventures in India has been changed, all thanks to Baahubali and the vision of SS Rajamouli.
