Baahubali at 220 Cr!

Baahubali the film is without any doubt the most anticipated film in the industry in the past few years. One of the biggest selling points of this film is clearly its genre and the cost at which the film is being made.

Yes, the budget of the film has been one of the primary sources for the hype on the film. When the film was slated it was said to be a 70 Cr to 90 Cr film. Later the number touched hundred which subsequently went to 150 Cr. The latest one hears on this aspect and directly from the makers is 220Cr.

Has the film really cost that much? Or is it the cost involving two films? One is yet to get clarity on this but it is said that the film is surely way up the budget as SS Rajamouli wants nothing but the best in terms of the visual effects. And it is these effects which are said to be costing a bomb.
